Bauhaus

 

Bauhaus was a revolutionary school of art, architecture and design established by Walter Gropius in 1919 and suppressed by the Nazis in 1933. This German school introduced a new spirit of modern design with important insights into the relationship between aesthetics and function. The Bauhaus style is defined by minimalist shapes, geometrical forms and primary colors. Clarity, simplicity and utility are the key words of this movement.
